The casting of Baby Bottle was probably the 6th role we cast on The Cuphead Show. Dave & Cosmo described what they wanted. Instantly, I remembered hearing Cristina Milizia’s baby demo reel. I told them to give me five minutes and was back with the reel. They were instantly sold. When she actually came into record the role, their jaws were on the floor. They kept saying how realistic she sounded. Interestingly, both Cristina and I were very pregnant at the time. We ended up having our babies just a few days a part at the same hospital.

Cristina is a pro and a treasure. She has been an integral part of the Barbie Dreamhouse cast since we started, bringing “Teresa” to life in the most beautiful way possible. Her talent, range, and positive attitude make her an absolute delight to work with. I admire her so much, and absolutely love working with her.

To say Cristina’s role on Victor and Valentino was crucial is a colossal understatement. She voiced our standout, darkly sweet “Charlene” and scores of other dynamic, hilarious characters. But when we needed a voice for a character central to a tragic arc in our final season, she delivered in a devastatingly perfect way. She was so much of the emotional backbone of the show and voiced so many of our funniest character moments. Cristina is at the top of my list of actors I want to continue to work with again and again.

You have probably already worked with Cristina Milizia if you work in VO. But just in case you haven’t… whether you get to see her in the booth or in her studio, you should know that your day is about to get exponentially better. Not only is Cristina one of the most kind and fun humans around, she is also the consummate professional. And did I mention the voices? They are warm, quirky, honest, weird, adorable… Oh! And Cristina just improved a quirky song for us the other day and it was hilarious. So, she’s funny and musical too.

Cristina is a phenomenal collaborator. She is always ready, willing, and able to take creative risks and craft characters that truly stand out in a crowd. We love working with her and look forward to continuing to do so through the years.

I personally love working with Cristina, and I always try to get every new doll or critter voice recording requirements sent her way for our product development projects. She’s always a pleasure to work with and so easy! No attitude, and no extra fees (except for time spent) – even when it’s a work in progress and we come back for pick-ups as the project forms, gets revised, and goes in another direction. Even for our crunch projects (which is typically most of them) she always works us into her busy schedule. It’s a very beneficial relationship for both of us!

Just finished up 3 days of work with Cristina on a new animated series – she is playing a lead – and she surpassed our expectations. Not only did she nail the voice we were looking for but she went above and beyond, studying up on foreign word pronunciation and committing and stick around until the job got done perfectly.
